I'd like you to meet Mr. Bunny. Now I realize that this is probably a girl due to the color and I think this is actually a lamb, but somehow we have named him Mr. Bunny. Probably because the one before this one was actually a bunny and he was Mr. Bunny as well. You see my sweet little Mia loves stuffed animals and has to have one to sleep. Now not just any stuffed animal it has to have ears, long ears in fact, so she can suck her thumb and hold on an ear and suck on that too. The first one, which was the actual stuffed bunny, had to be retired because the ears got too brown and crusty, oh and smelly too. I would always think she had a poopy diaper but then I realized it was the smell of the old crusty saliva on the ears...I know..sick! So now we have the new Mr. Bunny. His ears hold up much better. I never thought this little phase would last long when it started when she was around 6 months or so. But it's here to stay I think, she loves to cuddle with it, but I secretly love it and think it is the cutest thing. She cries when we put her down to sleep until she has it with her, then when we give it to her she laughs an actual belly laugh....every time! In the morning when we open the door to get her she laughs then scrambles as fast as she can to get her bunny before we pick her up. When she is sad or tired she goes to get her bunny then comes to sit on my lap. I think she has found her very own BFF. Man girls are so different from boys!

What a funny girl. Good thing she was so young when you threw her first BFF away. That might of affected her in some way if she knew her BFF was in the trash. (hehe)
How funny...hopefully you wont have to scramble to find another Mr. Bunny if something happens to this one. Don't tell anyone by I think I still have my blanky somewhere from when I was younger.....Shhhh!
cute! Malia is still attached to her 'cow' and still strokes his little nose for her to be able to fall asleep. It's cute! Cole is starting to get attached to his little dog too. But it's all good! I think it's cute when kids have little stuffed animal loveys or whatever!
You know, Mason's actually like that with a little floppy-ear dog too! Since he was about 6 months old he had to have it with him all the time. He sucked the nose off, and how that i've sewn that closed, he sucks on the tail. We "give him a bath" in the washer about once a week so it doesn't smell!! It's so cute how little kids have their security objects.
