My Day Off

Saturday there was an Indian Festival of Color. So me and my BFF Lindy took the day off and went. We went last year and it is tons of fun. Basically tons and tons of people come and buy bags of colorful chalk. When they light the bon fire and have a countdown all the thousands of people throw their chalk. Everyone gets all hyped up screaming and dancing. It's a blast. Obviously there is more meaning to this festival for those who are that religion but we just go for the good time. It was nice to spend the day with Lindy and to have a day off from the kids, work, house etc... here are some pics.

You didn't know that the meaning of the chalk festival means that you become a member of their faith? Now you have to bow down 10 times every time the clock strikes noon. And just think, they are all laughing and saying, look at all those silly Mormons!
